Instead of merely thinking about the solution, Pranjali decided to build it. In January 2022, while still in her mid-teens, she founded Delv.AI, an AI-powered platform designed to help researchers efficiently discover, organize, and summarize information from vast amounts of online data.
Launching a startup is never easy, regardless of age. It requires convincing investors, refining products, building a team, and constantly improving the technology. For a teenager, the challenge was even greater. Yet Pranjali focused on solving a genuine problem rather than proving her age didn’t matter.
Her persistence paid off. Delv.AI reportedly raised around $450,000 (approximately ₹3.7 crore) from investors, including On Deck and Village Global. Within a short span, the startup was reported to have achieved a valuation of nearly $12 million (around ₹100 crore) a remarkable milestone for a company led by someone who hadn’t even reached adulthood. Along the way, she also built a small team of around ten professionals, showing that leadership is earned through vision and execution, not simply experience.
But perhaps the most inspiring part of Pranjali’s journey isn’t the valuation or the headlines. It’s the years of quiet learning that came before them.
