About Foundation

The Positive Diary Foundation was born from a simple belief: some of humanity’s deepest challenges need more than awareness—they need understanding, prevention and meaningful action.

The Foundation grew from the vision behind The Positive Diary, which began as a blogging platform—Amit Kothari’s space for self-expression and reflection. Over time, it evolved into a community where people shared real experiences, wisdom and life lessons with the hope of helping others.

Today, the Foundation takes that spirit beyond blogging to work towards some of society’s pressing challenges—stress, emotional well-being, youth challenges, substance abuse and the growing disconnect from ourselves and our roots.

We believe solutions can come not only from modern approaches, but also from the timeless wisdom of Yoga, Indian traditions and ancient knowledge, meaningfully adapted for today’s world.

Our work focuses on creating awareness, supporting young people and building initiatives that bring greater balance, resilience and hope into everyday lives.

FLYBRARY is one such initiative—taking the joy and power of books beyond conventional spaces and making them accessible at airports, encouraging people to read, share and pass knowledge forward.

We are a young Foundation, but our vision is larger than any single project.

To understand humanity better.
To help people live better.
To pass on wisdom, hope and positivity.

About

What is it all about?

The Positive Diary began as a simple idea to create a space for real stories that heal, inspire, and connect. Five years later, it has grown into a heartfelt community with over 800 personal blogs from people across India.

Our writers aren’t professionals or AI tools. They’re teens, teachers, mothers, thinkers, and seekers, courageously sharing honest experiences on mental health, spirituality, poetry, fitness, and the wisdom of Indian traditions. Each post invites reflection and reminds readers they’re not alone.

We believe stories heal. They make space for truth, connection, and quiet strength, especially for those silently facing stress, anxiety, or emotional struggles.

We’re especially committed to supporting teens and young adults, expanding our reach through blogs, podcasts, YouTube shorts, and webinars – all created with care and authenticity.

At The Positive Diary, we don’t offer perfect answers. We offer something better: real connection, gentle hope, and a reminder that growth is always possible.

Come as you are. Read. Reflect. Write. Heal.

Leave a little lighter than you came.
