I stood at the Amsterdam railway station, preparing to board my train to Paris. Dreading the thought of tugging two bags, I was trying to figure out where the elevator was.
A kind stranger appeared out of nowhere. I asked him for directions to my platform. He pointed out the stairs. He understood I was contemplating carrying the bags. Without me saying anything, in a swift motion, he picked up my luggage, i.e., two bags, and sprinted up the steep stairs, 10 steps to the landing and another 10 to the top. I watched in amazement, feeling a mix of surprise and gratitude.
He halted at the landing and turned around to look for me. He smiled as I approached the landing and said, “You took your time, lady! It looked like I was running away with your bags!” I laughed, still catching my breath after climbing those huge stairs. Assured I was heading to the platform, he sprinted again to the top.
As I approached the platform, the stranger left my bags and took off. I didn’t get a chance to thank him. He vanished into the crowd, leaving me with a heartwarming memory of our brief encounter. Despite the chaos of the railway station, this kind stranger had taken a moment to help me, and I was grateful for his selfless act.
Lovely and lively incident. While we crib and rant about forgotten norms of courtesies, we forget to appreciate good deeds.

It’s these good deeds that help me sail through my travels. 😁
The Good Samaritan the bible quotes is still seen today. That’s the reason we can breathe through. It’s not necessary to repay any kind gesture coz we by spirit of kindness exercise this act unknowingly everywhere.
