SHINE YOUR INNER LIGHT!
During these covid times so many heroes emerged in the form of doctors, nurses, helpers, friends, mothers and fathers. Isn’t this time the perfect example in our life history to make us realise that we all have that power within us to rise up to inspire and motivate.
Honestly speaking there are real heroes all around us who are fighting in their journey of life every moment. Such people teach us or rather inspire us to replicate such values in our lives. They ignite the spark plug of our life engine, thus showing us the path through faith, self belief, courage and commitment.
I am so proud of my dear sister-in-law, Neeta Ranka Kothari, a real fighter, real life hero of my story.
Here is Neeta’s message for all of us in her own words!
“I was detected with ovarian cancer at the age of 33. I had options to be operated in Pune, Mumbai or the USA, but I chose Pune because I wanted to see my son whenever I wished to. I fought it with a positive attitude, without chemotherapy and radiation, and the sheer willpower to survive for my child.
My cancer was due to excessive stress with no family history or bad vices. I simply put all the negative people and thoughts out of life and fought like a warrior to survive it. I didn’t meet people who came to sympathize with me. I didn’t cry or frown even once after the results. I had two surgeries in a month, in which after the second one I was critical and in unbearable deep pain. But simply for my son, I fought it till the end. The doctors insisted on chemo but I flatly refused and luckily doctors in the US agreed with me.
It’s been 11 years since then. I didn’t change my lifestyle totally, didn’t meditate all day or read self-help or positive books. All I did was talk to God that he can’t take me away until my son is 18. I have duties toward my child, I told God!
My son is 20 years old today and it’s been 11 years since then. I hope reading this will inspire and give hope to someone. Your attitude is EVERYTHING!”

Such heroes shine their inner light with willpower and love.
As the year 2020 ends, I express immense gratitude for all such inspirations in my life that act as catalysts in my inner transformation journey.
In the words of Mahatma Gandhi,
A Festival is a reminder and an opportunity to “Be the change you want to see in the world!”
Every New year is a time to reflect, celebrate and appreciate this beautiful human life. Looking forward to the new year with a renewed sense of purpose and passion.
Always remember, YOU ARE A HERO!!
