This visionary, driven by a profound purpose, has woven a remarkable narrative of impact and transformation.

At the helm of the revered organization “Palle Srujana,” founded in November 2005 upon his retirement from the Indian Army, Brigadier P Ganesham embarked on a resolute mission. The driving force behind his endeavor was to extend a supportive hand to grassroots innovators, to lend their ingenious creations the wings to soar. These remarkable innovators, often tucked away in the heartlands, held within them the power to resolve the everyday challenges faced by their communities.

Guided by an unwavering determination, Brigadier P Ganesham orchestrates ‘Shodha Yatras,’ which navigate through the soul of rural India, uncovering hidden treasures of innovation. It was in the soil of these communities that the seeds of remarkable solutions germinated, nurtured by his genuine curiosity and unquenchable zeal.

Over the span of 18 years, this retired army officer has identified over 200 rural innovators, each contributing their unique brushstroke to the canvas of progress. Notably, among these innovators shines the radiant light of Chintakindi Mallesham, a recipient of the illustrious Padma Shri award. Mallesham’s creation, the Laxmi ASU machine, transformed the arduous process of weaving Pochampalli silk sarees, embodying the essence of innovation that Brigadier P Ganesham tirelessly champions.

Having served in the Indian Army, Brigadier P Ganesham’s journey into the world of grassroots innovation was serendipitous, an encounter that ignited his passion for nurturing untapped talent. Among the treasures he has unearthed, 26 stand primed for the market, adorned with the potential to reshape industries. An impressive 24 have earned patents, emblematic of their originality and utility. Remarkably, 13 of these creations have been honored with prestigious President awards, while 2 have ascended to the pinnacle of recognition through Padma Shri awards.

The abode of Brigadier P Ganesham in Vayupuri, Secunderabad, has metamorphosed into a living testament of innovation. Within its walls, prototypes of these groundbreaking creations find their place, testament to the relentless pursuit of solutions that enrich lives. Beyond recognition, his impact ripples through the tangible realm of finance, as nearly four crore rupees in financial assistance have been generated for these innovators. The scope of their influence stretches beyond local horizons, resonating in national exhibitions, competitions, and in securing the means to scale and manufacture their visions.
