DATED – 15th June 2017
There are two sides to each one of us – SOLUTIONS SIDE and COMPLAINS SIDE. Depending on the situation we become a Solution BOX (SB) or a Complain Box (CB). I am listing down some situations, and our possible responses as CB or SB–
Situation – COMPETITION IN BUSINESS
CB – There is nothing left in business. Everyone is going about cutting each other’s profits
SB – The fact there is so much competition, means I need to stand out from the crowd and become innovative to survive
Situation – MATHS IS A TOUGH SUBJECT
CB – Who created this useless subject called mathematics?
SB – This is my toughest subject. What should I do to score more than in any other subject?
Situation – CAN’T RELATE TO PEOPLE
CB – Maintaining relationships is such a futile exercise, and a waste of time
SB – I understand relating to people is my limitation. But I am nothing without people. So I must do whatever it takes to build relationships
Situation – MAID NOT COME
CB – How much ever you understand them, they always create problems for us
SB – Whether she comes or not, it is my house which I must maintain. Atleast I will stay active and not become totally dependent on my maid
Situation – DO NOT HAVE A GOOD SENSE OF HUMOUR
CB – How much I wish God hadn’t created this thing called – Humour
SB – I will observe and watch people who are good at creating humour. I will work on it
Situation – GOVERNMENT POLICIES, WHICH I DIDN’T LIKE
CB – All governments are same – just having fun on public money and making policies against us
SB – I will ensure that I do not vote for that party. If many people agree with me, the government will not win again
Situation – FATHER GETS ANGRY
CB – Just because they are elder in age, they can do anything they want?
SB – They would have seen enough of my tantrums. Let me still talk respectfully and make them understand my perspective
Situation – EXCESSIVE WEIGHT GAIN
CB – Whatever I do, this weight just shoots up again and again
SB – There must be something that I might be doing wrong, which is not allowing me to control weight
Situation – MOBILE PHONES
CB – This is the worst invention ever. It has distanced families
SB – I will switch off my mobile the moment I come home. Family first
Situation – CHILDREN DON’T LISTEN
CB – The modern day kids are havoc. They are so irresponsible
SB – The kids of this generation need to be handled creatively. How should I do that?
My personal rule of life is extremely simple – The more I complain, higher the challenges. The more solutions I seek, God gives me easier situations to handle. After this thought, decision is easy – whether to be a COMPLAINT BOX or a SOLUTION BOX!
P.S. – CB are hated by people like me; whereas SB are loved, admired, embraced and invited by people like me!
