Tiwari explains, “This machine facilitates aerobic composting by meticulously maintaining the ideal temperature, air, oxygen, and moisture conditions, guaranteeing a fast and efficient transformation of organic waste.” The resulting compost requires no further processing and can be used immediately for landscaping and gardening, promoting soil health and sustainability.
Importantly, this innovation aligns with the Union government’s Solid Waste Management Policy 2016, which mandates bulk waste generators to process their waste on-site. Before entering the Gold Composter, organic waste undergoes a critical step of meticulous resegregation to remove any inorganic materials, optimizing the composting process and enhancing the quality of the nutrient-rich compost.
