We are always running, seeking and seeking, yet not really knowing what we seek. Most often when we obtain or attain what it seems we were seeking, we discover that it does not give us the happiness we expected.
Noting in the past nor in the future can give us the flavour or the fragrance of the present. Impersonating someone else, trying to adopt the persona of another we always feel inadequate.
All we have is the present. So all we can do is experience all the good and bad to the fullest, ignoring the undesirable as much as is feasible or practical. The pleasurable and beautiful do not need explanation, even the bad has its own beauty, remembering that only the night can embrace the dawn.
Enjoy the present.
