In 2018, we decided to shut our 15-year-old business – Jain Ceramics. It became too monotonous for me and was purely a price-driven business, which I hated from the bottom of my heart. I didn’t see a great future for myself in this business.

So, I took a plunge and started THE CONCRETE WORKS expecting things to work for better. It allowed me freedom to experiment, be more creative and was a non-price driven business.

When I started moving about and showing this to prospective clients, there was a mixed response – some got excited whereas some gave a very cold response saying that it wasn’t a product that fits their design.

Fortunately, I focused on those who got excited. I call them – FEEL GOOD customers. Many of these people have not yet given me even a rupee worth of business; but their excitement made me feel that I am going in the right direction.

Some responses like – we have wanted to get this kind of product but were not finding the right vendor, this is so awesome, if you are doing this product we are more than happy to use on our sites, can you leave some samples to show the client, concrete is my first love, we are bugged with the traditional concrete and more than happy to try this on our sites, the labourers are not easily available for traditional IPS concrete system, and so on – gave us the necessary booster!

We kept moving ahead with these responses! Today, we are one of the most sought after decorative concrete vendor in the country. We have partners in – Mumbai, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai. We are expecting to add few more cities this year!

 Through this blog, I would like to express my gratitude and thanks to these FEEL-GOOD customers who pepped us on. Without them, we wouldn’t be what we are today!
