” I am a magnet for miracles!
I receive and accept miracles beyond what I have ever experienced!
I am in the flow of magic and miracles!”
These are the kind of affirmations you will see in my journal. An Affirmation diary and a gratitude diary have changed my life perspectives and I am truly loving it!
One day my son asked me, “Mom what kind of a miracle are you trying to manifest? “
And this is what I told him:
“In spite of the year 2020 and everything else happening around, I was waking up every single day, I was breathing, eating good food, wearing good clothes, cooking nourishing meals for my family, connecting to my dear ones far away over Zoom calls and WhatsApp calls in these uncertain times! Isn’t this a miracle itself, magic itself?”
Are you ready to see miracles?
We often think, “If only I saw a miracle, then would I believe in it!”
But my dear, What are we waiting for? The splitting of the sea or appearing of some magical wand? These are just stories for children. HAHA !
Miracles are happening around us every moment. Life itself is a miracle. Our body is the most sophisticated miraculous machine on this planet.
But since these natural happenings are an everyday thing or to say “a routine” we dismiss them as “natural”.
Whereas actually we are so distracted by our daily survival struggles and our responsibilities that we often fail to actually experience and appreciate the whole nature of existence itself. Our duties overwhelm us and in the process blind us from seeing the miracles all around. It is not that we don’t believe in miracles; we simply stop taking out the time to appreciate little things around us.
To me, seeing a miracle means to pause and appreciate this MOMENT, NOW!
Pause …. You are about to experience a miracle!
Don’t wait for an outside miracle. Learn to recognize the unusual within the usual.
The moment you do, everything you see and do becomes exciting. You will soon realise that miracles are the very aspect of your life.
Just as you have a choice in everything you do, you can use your mind to either SEE the miracles in your life or UNSEE & DENY them.
Be honest!
Appreciate the miracles of your own life – the successes you’ve had and the strength that you survived failures.
I believe that every experience is essential for growth whether it’s a good one or a not so good one. I learn to let go of the very good experiences so that my ego isn’t pampered. At the same time, I learn to accept the not so good experiences as opportunities to introspect and correct myself.
What Does It Mean to “See” a Miracle?
When you look at anything, you notice the physical features of that object – its shape, colour, size, etc. Then you may notice its texture, smell, feel. Then maybe its benefits. Thus with more focus, you can discern the subtler elements.
Upon further study, you develop a “deeper look” at the object and learn its unique composition . Further down you may think about its origin, make, process etc. How far down the “rabbit hole” can you go?
Try this :
Identify one “natural” event in your life and make an effort to see the miracle within it. Each day, continue to look deeper into your “routine mundane” life and discover new dimensions. Journal about it if you wish and you will experience MAGIC.
Make a list of things and start observing whether you have really done things or they have happened? All the good and bad.
If something has not worked , has it actually been beneficial for you in the long run ? Think !
Have you ever thought, “how did this happen ! I couldn’t have really done this ?”
These are just some pointers to help you start your journey in recognizing miracles in daily life. As you start recognizing them, you will be in AWE of Life and the Magic of the Universe!
Very true
Seeking things is desiring…but finding self existence is surely a miracle.
Simply Superb
Indeed everything around us is a MIRACLE. Whether we choose to recognise or not will determine whether we actually understand what is a miracle!
Well composed! It is a difficult concept to express, but seems effortless for you! Kudos …
