There are some sentences, which show trust. When you say them, people feel trusted. Here are a few of them –

• I trust you!
• I am sure you would have thought about it
• I believe that whatever you do, you will do exceedingly well
• You can yourself decide how much time you can play between your studies. You know your portion more than me
• If you are going for a meeting, I am sure you will get the order
• I do not see merit in what you are doing. But if you are doing it, I think you would have thought about it enough
• Whatever decision you take my child, I will stand by you
• You can do it
• I cannot imagine how this will look in my interiors. But if you as an interior designer are saying it, lets go ahead with your choice
• Show me what dress you are going to wear for the wedding
• Though we have differences, we can talk to sort it out

On the contrary some sentences make the other person feel totally non-trusted

• Are you sure you want to take this decision?
• I do not think you have looked at it from all perspectives
• Is this meeting so important?
• You went out during office hours?
• Show me the accounts of how you spent your pocket money
• Every time you have started something, you have never succeeded
• Why do you talk to that person for so long? What is so important to discuss?
• Though you have checked it, I need to cross-check it for any errors

I personally feel that trust is an extremely important and sensitive topic. It is the foundation of all the relationships. A relationship can bloom only when there is 100% trust. In a relationship, misunderstandings will always be there. But true trust is to believe that communication can help solve the problems between us.

Needless to mention – not ever person you come across is trust worthy. Whom to trust, in which situation is totally upto your maturity. The intent on this blog is to realize that we speak some sentences without actually knowing that they might feel non-trusted. Hence, we need to choose our words carefully.

Sometimes our trust might get broken. But that’s not the end of the world. We need to learn, and continue to trust ourselves and move on. Afterall, until we trust ourselves completely, trusting others is impossible!
